OUR HISTORY
My hubby and I have always loved animals, and dogs in particular. We both grew up with dogs and cats. As a couple raising children, we felt it was important to have animals in our home to teach our children responsibility, kindness, and respect for all God's creatures, as well as the world we live in. After three decades together, we brought home our first Labrador Retriever puppy, having been dog parents to three Goldens and a wonderful mixed breed rescue, along with three cats and a horse.
WHO WE ARE
We are a large military family, with both active duty and retired members. We understand the stresses involved with military service and similar jobs. Labrador Retrievers are the go-to breed for service work. We began our breeding program as hobby breeders, with the intent of providing puppies for potential service work, as well as healthy, beautiful pets to those in our network and others. Our family knows the joys of having healthy canine members, and we would love to share this joy with carefully screened, amazing homes!
OUR BREED
About the Labrador Retriever
“The sturdy, well-balanced Labrador Retriever can, depending on the sex, stand from 21.5 to 24.5 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 55 to 80 pounds. The dense, hard coat comes in yellow, black, and a luscious chocolate. The head is wide, the eyes glimmer with kindliness, and the thick, tapering “otter tail” seems to be forever signaling the breed’s innate eagerness.
Labs are famously friendly. They are companionable housemates who bond with the whole family, and they socialize well with neighbor dogs and humans alike. But don’t mistake his easygoing personality for low energy: The Lab is an enthusiastic athlete that requires lots of exercise, like swimming and marathon games of fetch, to keep physically and mentally fit.”

OUR PUPPIES
Our puppies come from carefully curated breedings and are raised in our home and handled daily from birth. We use the Puppy Culture protocols of early neurological stimulation (ENS) with our litters. Additionally, our puppies are socialized with children, cats, and other dogs. They are introduced to swimming in our pool, weather permitting, and grow up in the midst of lots of sounds, activities, and love, giving them the best opportunity to thrive emotionally.
There is only one breed standard for AKC Labrador Retrievers. However, laypeople often categorize labs into "English" style and "American" style, which is often the difference between show lines and working lines, respectively. However, all Labradors should have the ability to work and all Labradors should be bred to the breed standard. Our puppies come from AKC Champion show lines. We are blessed by the hard work of others who came before us. Labradors also only come in three colors: black, yellow, and chocolate. We breed black and yellow.
